UK magazine "Heat" reports on 80's idols, including Morten Harket.

Then: Chisel-jawed vocalist of Norwegian teen idols A-Ha.

Claim to fame: Debut single "Take On Me", with it's seminal cartoon photo-story.

So what happened?: While A-Ha went on an official sabbatical, Morten undertook a series of solo projects including "Poetenes Evangelium", an LP of Norwegian poetry set to music, and the 1995 album "Wild Seed". He also presented the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest and Norwegian TV's coverage of the 1997 World Skiing Championships.
Last year, he separarted from wife Camilla Malmquist and had a brief relationship with Aqua's Lene G Nystrom. After recording with Swedish techno outfit Boolabass, he returned to A-Ha last year with a gig at Oslo's Nobel Concert along with Alanis Morissette and Phil Colins. The band chose to make their return at the Nobel event because it was to be recorded for US TV. Sadly, their 80 minute set was cut from the broadcast.
