a-ha leads in front of the band M2M in the elections for "Hit of the Year".
Both Norwegian bands are nominated in three different categories. The award
ceremony will take place on September 16.
a-ha has just over 20 percent of the votes with 'Summer Moved On', while M2M
are right behind with approximately 19 percent. You can continue to vote for
your favorite artist at http://www.start.no/hitawards/.
You can find an overview of the songs below. Now the nominations for the
other categories of the Hitawards, which will take place on September 16
at the Oslo Spektrum, are also known. The veterans of a-ha, as well as M2M
- latter band will be present at the award show - have the largest number
of nominations in this year's HitAwards. Both Norwegian bands are nominated
for three categories each. You will find those nominations below as well. The
nominations are based upon the weekly chart positions in Dagbladet.
'Hit of the Year' is the only category for which the public can vote.
