Two of them can get an award tonight - the third one will just perform. a-ha
will be the final act at the Spellemann Show.

It was half past five in the afternoon, when Paal Waaktaar Savoy and Lauren
arrived at Oslo Spektrum. Paal and the rest of a-ha will appear on stage at
the Spelleman Show tonight. Lauren will sit in the audience and applaud. The
Spellemann Award still holds value for the cynical a-ha boys. Paal and
Lauren Savoy are nominated for 'Best pop band'. "It's just short of a
Grammy," was Paal Waaktaar Savoy's short retort when asked upon the meaning
of a Spellemann Award.

A few minutes later, Magne Furuholmen arrived. When asked what he thought
worst, to take part in the contest or to perform with a-ha, he replied:
"That's like choosing between two evils."

The last man to arrive was Morten Harket, who rushed at high speed past
Dagbladet's journalists, while the dress rehearsal was already in swing for
half an hour. He barely had time to say that he was happy before he left to
get on the set, and go over this year's Spellemann's final song one more
time.
